Is Olympus Machining ISO 13485 certified?

ISO 13485 certification is on our roadmap. We currently operate to ISO 9001-aligned quality controls and provide the documentation typically required by ISO 13485-certified customers — material certs with heat/lot traceability, Certificates of Conformance, and inspection records. We recommend confirming program-specific documentation needs at the quoting stage.

Can you machine biocompatible PEEK?

Yes. We machine implant-grade PEEK and PEEK-CF30 on our 3-axis and multi-axis mills. Tooling, coolant, and packaging are controlled to prevent cross-contamination from non-medical alloys when required by the customer's specification.

Do you provide certifications on medical parts?

Yes. Material certifications with heat and lot traceability, Certificates of Conformance, and dimensional inspection records are standard for medical-program parts. Additional documentation (e.g., process records, FAIRs, traveler copies) is available on request.

Can you machine titanium for orthopedic applications?

Yes. We machine Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5) and CP titanium for orthopedic fixtures, surgical instruments, and dental components. Multi-axis machining lets us produce complex anatomical geometries from solid billet.

Do you handle single-use surgical tooling?

Yes. Short-run production of single-use machined components is well within our shop's normal output range. We can scope traceability and packaging requirements during quoting.
